Skincare Products I Am Using This Winter
I love Winter. I love the late mornings with crisp air, layers on layers, cozy blankets and warm drinks. Dry skin, however, is not fun. For that, I am listing the products that have been keeping my skin moisturized and preventing it from getting flaky, itchy and with dry patches all over (which I often get during Winter).
COCOKIND OIL
TO MILK CLEANSER
Leaves the skin soft and feeling hydrated. It’s also very good to remove makeup. I use it in the mornings and at night, or as the first step if I am double cleansing.
VERSED DAY DISSOLVE CLEANSING BALM
I use this cleansing balm when I wear makeup. It removes all your makeup with just one scrub. The eucalyptus oil makes it so relaxing, specially after a long day.
BIODERMA HYDRABIO TONIQUE
A recent life-changing discovery. This toning lotion hydrates and improve the texture of your skin, and reduces the appearance of pores. I apply it with a cotton pad every morning and night after washing my face.
KIEHL’S ULTRA FACIAL CREAM
A year-round favorite. It keeps my skin hydrated and locks in the moisture for the entire day leaving it super soft and smooth. It comes in another version with SPF as well. Fun fact: I gifted Oscar and my dad this moisturizer as a way to initiate them into skincare and it worked like a charm. They use it every-single-day.
EMBRYOLISSE LAIT CREME CONCENTRE
I first tried this moisturizer like 7 years ago, and I am so happy I discovered it again. It’s incredibly hydrating, works as a makeup primer because it leaves the skin super smooth and prevents the makeup from cracking, and also can be a mask. My skin feels soft, plump and elastic.
LAPCOS MILK MOISTURIZING SHEET MASK
The perfect compliment to my routine. I started using these once a week and has made such a difference to my skin. It feels bouncy and super hydrated. If you need help recovering your skin from the dry weather, I highly highly recommend this mask.
