Fresh Recipe: Plum it up with this salad!
Hey babies! It's Esther here today with a new
fresh recipe.
As you probably can tell, I am a freak for salads, especially the ones that go out of the ordinary and have and extra something. There is no reason why we have to eat boring food when trying to eat healthy and fresh. Some people think that eating salads is boring, and it can get boring if you have the same basic salads all the time. That is why I love mixing up flavors that spice up my meals, in this case, my salads.
This salad is made with plums. It can be a great companion for chicken or white fish, or you can eat it on its own! It is delicious either way.
Trust me on that one.
To make the salad you will need:
2 plums
Goat cheese (I know, I love it way too much)
Balsamic Vinegar
Parsley
1/4 of Walnuts
1 tablespoon of Brown Sugar
Pink salt
Pepper
The first thing is to caramelized the walnuts. For that, place the walnuts and the brown sugar in a sauce pan. Saltee them until caramelized. Cut the plums into slices. I use 2 plums for a one-person portion, but it varies depending on how many people you'll make the salad for! Use as many plums as you like. Add chunks of goat cheese, the walnuts and the chopped parsley on top on the sliced plums. Sprinkle everything with pink salt and pepper, drizzle some balsamic vinegar and
BOOM!
You'll be a huge (huuuuge) fan .
