Face Roller: Rose Quartz Edition

IMG_3867.JPG

The new hype is face rolling, and although is not new, it has people all over the world hooked. As you know, I am all about skin health, and face rolling has been part of my routine for a while now. They all have their own functionality and penetrate your skin differently, rollers with tiny needles to increase collagen production, two ice rollers, and my beloved rose quartz roller.

Ancient cultures say Rose quartz helps unclog the Heart Chakra, letting go of stress and negativity that can cause muscle tension, fine lines and wrinkles. Most spiritual traditions recognize love as the ultimate healing force, hence Heart Chakra as the energy center for self love, relationships, integration, and healing. Rose quartz, then, can bring a softer, more radiant complexion and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

I just love the beauty Rose quartz has in general.

The idea is not to roll our face with it, but to do two types of movements. Downwards for detoxifying and stimulating lymphatic drainage, and Upwards to rejuvenate and stimulate circulation and oxygenation on the skin. Both movements should be done outwards. Does it make sense?

I like to place my Rose Quartz roller in the fridge first thing in the morning, around 20 minutes before rolling my face. Cold will help reduce the inflammation that has built up during the sleep, as well as shrinking our pores to achieve that baby face we all want.

Here some of the benefits:

Improves blood circulation and skin tone
Eliminates toxins
Promotes lymphatic drainage
Calms inflammation
Reduces puffiness and wrinkles
Tightens and reduces the size of our pores
Reduce dark under eye circles
Helps with product penetration
Improve elasticity of the skin
Plumps up the skin

We want the best version of our own skin to show.

As always, please find all my favorites below.

Thanks for reading loves!
Xoxo,
